Sea scout ship 16 meeting post #1

Thought it would be cool to post this sort of thing.

Tonight's meeting was at the boats. This means we were out at the Marina where our(the boats SSS16 owns) are kept.

Like a parking garage,oddly enough. Hm.

Anyways, the meeting was held at 6:30 PM EST(I was a little late due to other running around.) when I arrived I found pretty much all the newer members of the ship busy on our largest boat. Good job guys. =)

Shortly after Skipper and then the older members arrived.

The first thing that Skipper said was: "We got some good wind."

We didn't have any other big plans for the meeting, so we all decided to go sailing. On this, our largest boat.

Now, since we were taking the largest of our three boats(31 ft.), this means that there was a good deal of breezy-ness.

So that means it was windy. Very nice weather.

So we got underway, and we spent what I believe was a solid hour of saling around in the same area tacking and jibing (about 7:00EST-8:00EST).

Oh my goodness, it was fun =D

The favorable amount of wind meant we were heeling over to the point that the lifeline on the boat was near the water, and the lifeline is typically about two or so feet above the water.

Yeah. Again, awesome.

After our good deal of fun and practice on the water, we secured the boat and went ashore and up to the clubhouse.

Bussiness was dealt with, shirts decided upon, minutes read.

And I, being the Bosun of the ship, ended the  meeting with the typical "Dismissed."

What'ya think? I would like to keep doing something like this for regular blog-posts.

So feedback is welcome and wanted.

Just watched Megaman legends Game club #9...

And two things have become apparent;

One, I need to stop being a lurker on that site.(and just in general <_< )

And second, If I'm going to play more than just the first game in the MML series, it's going to require allot of moneyz(or favors =P)
